VELVET REVOLVER Add Another California Date

VELVET REVOLVER have added a Highland, California date to their current itinerary. The details are as follows:

Jul. 21 - Hard Rock Hotel - Las Vegas, NV
Jul. 22 - The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa Mesa, CA
Jul. 27 - San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino - Highland, CA
Jul. 29 - Konocti Harbor Resort & Spa - Kelseyville, CA
Jul. 30 - California Mid State Fair @ Paso Robles Events Center - Paso Robles, CA

VELVET REVOLVER are currently in pre-production for their second album, tentatively titled "Libertad", for a late 2006/early 2007 release.

With regards to the new album's musical direction, guitarist Slash told MTV.com, "The material is amazing and ... we've grown so much as a band."

VELVET REVOLVER recently recorded a new song for the upcoming animated feature, "Monster House".
